Goalie Rankings

Streaming Targets 🎯

Scott Wedgewood (DAL) – vs CHI (46% Owned)

Wedgewood will start for the sixth straight game on Wednesday as he continues to be a mainstay between the pipes for the Stars, with Jake Oettinger still week-to-week with a lower-body injury. Wedgewood was terrific in a losing effort on Wednesday, saving 28 of 30 shots (.933 SV%), but did not receive ample goal support as the Stars fell 2-1 to the St. Louis Blues. In their first matchup against the Chicago Blackhawks this season, the Stars are enormous -378 home favourites. Wedgewood ranks best amongst all goalie projections on Friday with a 79.2 implied win percentage and could provide ample benefits for your fantasy matchup, as the Stars are slated to face the Blackhawks in a rematch on Sunday and will likely turn to him again.

Joey Daccord (SEA) – vs PHI (42% Owned)

Daccord has been nothing short of sensational since stepping in as the defacto starting goalie for the Kraken earlier this month when Philipp Grubauer was injured, allowing two or fewer goals in six of seven starts (4-1-2), posting a stellar .944 SV%. The Kraken are -127 home favourites against a Flyers team that played last night and could be without Travis Konecny.

Alex Lyon (DET) – vs NSH (28% Owned)

Lyon has been on injured reserve with an upper-body injury after exiting a December 16th contest against the Philadelphia Flyers in the second period but will make his return on Friday in a challenging matchup against the Nashville Predators. Before his injury, Lyon was stellar, allowing one goal or fewer in four of his last six games (4-2-0), posting a tremendous .938 SV%. Lyon ranks seventh amongst all goalie projections on Friday and makes for a solid consolation prize if Wedgewood and Daccord are unavailable. The Red Wings, 1-5-0 in Lyon’s absence, will face off against the Nashville Predators, who have lost two straight games (0-2-0).
