Fantasy Hockey: Daily Goalie Rankings – 10/11/22

Trying to decide which goalies to start is a dilemma that Fantasy Hockey owners face daily.

We here at DailyFaceoff try to make being a Fantasy Owner as easy as possible. Each day, we will rank the day’s starting goalies based on their Projected Win%, Goals Against Average, and SV%. Win percentage and expected goals against are generated from Sportsbooks Odds and Implied Totals.

In addition to the Starting Goalies Rankings table, we will have a write-up about the best streaming options for that day (if any).

Keep an eye on our Starting Goalies page to make sure the goalies listed below are CONFIRMED to start.

Goalie Rankings

Streaming Targets 🎯

Jonathan Quick (LAK) – 80% Rostered

Available in only 20 percent of leagues, there is a slim chance Quick is still waiting in your league’s free-agent pool before the Kings’ opener against the Vegas Golden Knights. Quick led Los Angeles between the pipes last season after two down years previously, finishing 2021-22 with a 2.59 GAA and .910 SV% on the way to winning 23 games. Entering his 16th NHL season, Quick will find himself in a constant battle for starts with Cal Peterson as 2022-23 rolls on, but he should start the season opener. He is not worth a pickup until it has been confirmed. Even still, it’s the first games of the week and streaming Quick in a below-average matchup is only recommended for teams that are absolutely desperate in net at the moment.
