RISERS

Josh Morrissey, D, Winnipeg Jets (78%)

If you’re looking for a stealth blue line option, Morrissey’s your man. Impressively, the 27-year-old has notched 13 points (1 goal, 12 assists) over his past 11 outings. In general, Winnipeg’s been a nice story early on, Morrissey’s been an absolute beast. You love to see it.

Jordan Kyrou, LW/RW, St. Louis Blues (67%)

Remember when I told you to hold on Kyrou? If you did, you’re certainly reaping the benefits now. The dual eligible winger has tallied two goals and five assists over a modest four-game point streak. This dude’s a stud, grab him immediately if he’s available. You won’t regret it.

David Perron, RW, Detroit Red Wings (61%)

After a slow start in Detroit, the veteran winger has really turned things on lately. He has a goal and six helpers over a four-game point streak. For my money, Perron’s been and remains one of the most underrated fantasy players. Snatch him up as soon as possible, he’s really starting to find his groove.

Cam Fowler, D, Anaheim Ducks (6%)

It’s tough to find production on the back end, so I had to include Fowler on this week’s list. This is not sustainable, but I’d stream him until he cools off. Over a three-game point streak, the 30-year-old has tallied a goal and six points. Additionally, it’s important to note that Fowler’s been running the first power play unit for Anaheim. Take a look.

Adam Ruzicka, C, Calgary Flames (4%)

I’m not sure how much staying power he has, but I’d definitely take a flier on Ruzicka at the moment. Since being healthy scratched three straight games, the 23-year-old has responded by tallying four goals and four assists in six contests. It goes without saying but the Slovakian’s been taking big-time advantage of his first line assignment alongside Elias Lindholm and Tyler Toffoli. Scoop him up.

FALLERS

Victor Hedman, D, Tampa Bay Lightning (100%)

Considering his average draft position this season (14.5), Hedman’s been a massive disappointment for fantasy owners so far. Having said that, it’s Tampa, so I’d say it’s way too early to overreact to these developments. The 31-year-old hasn’t picked up a point in six straight games, and on top of that, he was recently replaced by Mikhail Sergachev on PP1. No need to panic.

Patrick Kane, RW, Chicago Blackhawks (97%)

At this rate, the only way you’re going to get a good return on investment with Kane is post trade —assuming that goes down at some point. And let’s hope that happens sooner rather than later, the future Hall of Famer has been a tough own early on. As expected, offence has been hard to come by for Chicago. All you can do is hold; you’ll get terrible trade offers.

Anze Kopitar, C, Los Angeles Kings (81%)

Growing impatient with Kopitar’s quiet start? You’re not alone. The 35-year-old has just one point in his past six outings. This won’t last forever, though. Honestly, I think now’s a good buy-low time, he’s due to bust loose eventually.

Matt Boldy, LW/RW, Minnesota Wild (79%)

Growing pains, am I right? Boldy has just one point in his past eight games. For some reason, something just feels off with the Wild this season. Personally, I’d contemplate moving him for the right price. Gauge the trade market and see what you can fetch. Think about it.

Matty Beniers, C, Seattle Kraken (28%)

After a monster start, Beniers has really cooled off lately. Having said that, he notched two assists on Saturday night against Los Angeles after failing to register a point in six straight games. Monitor closely; Beniers was the betting favourite to win the Calder Trophy for a reason. Hold.
