Brad Marchand was up to his old antics on Saturday.

After he and Buffalo Sabres’ defenseman Rasmus Dahlin exchanged pleasantries, resulting in Marchand getting two minor penalties, the Florida Panthers’ forward took Dahlin’s helmet with him to the penalty box, ripping off the straps and throwing them onto the ice.

The incident occurred midway through the second period after Dahlin delivered a crosscheck on Marchand. Seconds later, Marchand tripped the Buffalo’ captain then roughed him up while he was on the ice.

In the ensuring scrum, Marchand ended up with Dahlin’s helmet, taking it with him to the penalty box. While in there, Marchand played the role of Sabres’ head trainer, ripping out the straps and throwing the helmet back onto the ice.

The Sabres would go on to win 3-0.
