Anaheim Ducks General Manager Bob Murray and Head Coach Dallas Eakins will be returning to the organization next year, the former announced Friday.

During a year-end press conference, Murray said both will be returning in 2021-22.

Murray, 66, joined the Ducks in 2005-06 as the organization’s Sr. Vice-President of Hockey Operations and took over as general manager in 2008-09, a role he’s held to the day.

Eakins, meanwhile, is now in his sixth year within the Ducks organization. He began as a head coach of the San Diego Gulls in 2015, and was promoted to bench boss of the Ducks two years ago. In Anaheim, he’s coached the team to a 46-63-18 record and the club has missed the playoffs in both seasons.
