Golden Knights’ Erik Haula stretchered off ice in Toronto

A leg is not supposed to bend like that.

Vegas Golden Knights forward Erik Haula was stretchered off the ice Tuesday evening against the Toronto Maple Leafs after a collision with opposing forward Patrick Marleau.

Haula collided with the Toronto forward in the third period and appeared to suffer a knee injury. He was in agonizing pain following the hit and needed to be stretchered off the ice.

The replay is hard to watch:

Haula recorded a career-high 29 goals in his debut season in Vegas last season and has put up two goals and seven points through 14 games this year.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Vegas forward tonight.
