The Nashville Predators and goaltender @Juuse Saros have avoided salary arbitration.
According to Elliotte Friedman, the two sides have come to terms on a four-year contract worth $20 million, an annual cap hit of $5,000,000.
Saros put together a breakout season with the Predators in 2021. Over 36 games, he posted a .927 save percentage and a 2.28 goals-against average, earning him sixth place in Vezina Trophy voting for the league’s top goaltender.
With @Pekka Rinne announcing his retirement earlier this summer, Saros will officially be Nashville’s No. 1 goaltender.
