The Los Angeles Kings have signed forward Jaret Anderson-Dolan to a one-year contract, the club announced Saturday morning.

Anderson-Dolan, 23, collected seven goals and 12 points in 46 games with the Kings during the 2022–23 regular season. He also appeared in four games with the team in the 2023 Stanley Cup Playoffs.

The Kings originally selected Anderson-Dolan in the second round (No. 41 overall) of the 2017 NHL Draft. His new contract with the Kings carries a $775,000 NHL cap hit.

After an illustrious Western Hockey League career with the Spokane Chiefs, Anderson-Dolan turned pro in the Kings’ ranks on a full-time basis in the 2019–20 season.

Anderson-Dolan appeared in 34 games with the Kings in 2020–21. He returned to the AHL for much of the following season and racked up 47 points in 54 games with the Ontario Reign.

Through 96 career games over parts of five seasons with the Kings, Anderson-Dolan has collected 14 goals and 24 points. He has yet to record a point through four Stanley Cup Playoff contests.

The Kings had previously elected not to tender Anderson-Dolan a qualifying offer as a pending restricted free agent. The Calgary product will be eligible to become a restricted free agent once again next summer.
