Loud Luxury and Bishop Briggs to perform at 2024 NHL Awards in Las Vegas

The National Hockey League has announced that Loud Luxury and Bishop Briggs will perform at the 2024 NHL Awards in Las Vegas on June 27.
The NHL Awards will be broadcast live from the Fontainebleau Las Vegas starting at 7:00 p.m. ET on Thursday as the league announces the winners of a variety of awards, including the Hart Trophy, Ted Lindsay Award, Vezina Trophy, Norris Trophy, and Calder Trophy.
Loud Luxury previously performed at the 2024 NHL All-Star Weekend in Toronto. The Canadian house music duo will “provide entertainment throughout the evening as the House DJ,” according to the NHL’s release.
Bishop Briggs is a British singer-songwriter whose top hit song, “River,” has amassed over two billion streams worldwide on various music platforms. Her performance on Thursday will open the awards show.

Matt Friend, a 26-year-old American comedian and impressionist who performed at the 2024 White House Correspondents Dinner, will host the show. Awards presenters include Stranger Things star Gaten Matarazzo, Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz, former Saturday Night Live cast member Jay Pharoah, and My Life with the Walter Boys actor Noah LaLonde.
The NHL Awards will be the first of major offseason events for the league to take place this weekend, the other being the 2024 NHL Draft, which will be held at the famous Sphere on June 28 and 29. The San Jose Sharks, Chicago Blackhawks, and Anaheim Ducks will make the first, second, and third overall picks in this year’s draft.
The Hart Trophy, awarded to the league’s most valuable player as voted by the Professional Hockey Writers Association, is widely considered the top individual award in the sport. This year’s Hart finalists are Edmonton Oilers forward Connor McDavid, Colorado Avalanche forward Nathan MacKinnon, and Tampa Bay Lightning forward Nikita Kucherov.
However, many of the league’s individual awards have already been handed out. The Selke Trophy, for instance, was awarded to Florida Panthers captain Aleksander Barkov midway through the playoffs, which ended with the Panthers winning their first-ever Stanley Cup championship.
