Maple Leafs’ William Nylander out for Game 1 vs. Bruins

Toronto Maple Leafs’ forward William Nylander will not play in Game 1 of the team’s opening round series against the Boston Bruins, according to Sportsnet’s Elliotte Friedman.
Nylander is not playing
Nylander, 27, has only missed one game in the last three seasons with the Maple Leafs.
The Swedish winger had 40 goals and 58 assists for 98 points this season, tying his career high in goals and setting new personal bests in assists and points.

Matthew Knies will be on a line with John Tavares and Mitch Marner, while Nick Robertson gets into the lineup on a line with Calle Jarnkrok and Pontus Holmberg.
Ilya Samsonov gets the start in net for the Maple Leafs.
