Martin Jones, Joel Armia headline 46-player season opening waiver list
With the end of the NHL preseason, the league’s 32 clubs now have to tinker with their rosters before the regular season begins on Tuesday.
Sunday was the last day for teams to waive players in order to clear before setting opening day rosters by 5 p.m. EST on Monday.
On Sunday, 46 players were placed on waivers, including Toronto Maple Leafs’ goaltender Martin Jones and Montreal Canadiens’ forward Joel Armia.
