— New Jersey Devils (@NJDevils) October 28, 2025Glass suffered his injury during the Devils’ 5-2 victory over the Toronto Maple Leafs on Oct. 21, and has not played since. In six games this season, the Winnipeg native has two goals and two assists.
Glass has the distinction of being the Vegas Golden Knights‘ first ever pick in the NHL Entry Draft, as he was selected sixth overall by the team in 2017. Despite a dominant career with the WHL’s Portland Winterhawks, where he scored 102 points in 64 games in the 2017-18 season, Glass has yet to find his offensive form at the NHL level.
After playing parts of two seasons with Vegas, where he put up nine goals and 13 assists over a combined 66 games, Glass was traded to the Nashville Predators ahead of the 2021-22 season. He spent the majority of his first season with the Predators playing for the team’s AHL affiliate Milwaukee Admirals. In the 2022-23 season, however, Glass had what still stands as his best NHL season to date, as he registered 14 goals and 21 assists for 35 points in 72 games for Nashville.
Prior to the 2024-25 season, Glass was dealt to the Pittsburgh Penguins, where he scored 15 points in 51 games before being dealt to the Devils midway through the year. He closed out that season with seven points in 14 games for New Jersey, and then signed a two-year, $5 million deal to remain a Devil this past offseason.
Lammikko was drafted in third round by the Florida Panthers in 2014, and has spent his career playing in both Europe and the NHL. His most recent NHL stint came in 2021-22 with the Vancouver Canucks, where he had 15 points in 75 games.
The Devils begin a four-game road trip Tuesday against the Colorado Avalanche.
