New York Islanders ink Ilya Sorokin, Anthony Beauvillir, Casey Cizikas and Kyle Palmeri

The New York Islanders have wrapped up deals for four players Wednesday as Ilya Sorokin, Anthony Beauvillir, Casey Cizikas, and Kyle Palmeri have all signed multi-year deals.
According to DailyFaceoff’s Frank Seravalli, Palmieri’s deal is a four-year contract with an AAV of $5-million.

The Athletic’s Arthur Staple reported Sorokin signed a three-year, $4-million AAV deal, Beauvillier signed a three-year, $4.15-million AAV deal and Cizikas signed a six-year, $2.5-million AAV deal.
It’s true fashion for Islanders GM Lou Lamoriello to sit quietly through the summer then sign four key pieces of their team to multi-year deals.
According to PuckPedia, the Islanders are now $3.7-million over the cap after the signings, but are able to exceed the cap by $6-million with defenceman Johnny Boychuk destined for the Long Term Injured Reserve.
