New York Rangers forward Sammy Blais out for season with torn ACL

The New York Rangers will be without Sammy Blais for the remainder of the season after he tore his ACL, the New York Post reported Tuesday.
The New York Post’s Larry Brooks first reported Blais would be out for the year, before Post colleague Mollie Walker reported it was an ACL tear.
The Rangers winger was chasing a puck down in the corner and had his skate clipped Sunday night against the New Jersey Devils by defenceman P.K. Subban. Blais crashed into the boards, falling to the ice and clutching his leg.
