Are you looking for a new opportunity in the hockey writing business? We are hiring writers for the Daily Faceoff news team!



For this junior part-time position, you would get the chance to:



<ul><li>Write daily stories about all the happenings in hockey, from the NHL to the international game to women’s hockey</li><li>Work closely with Daily Faceoff’s experienced team of senior writers and editors</li><li>Hone your craft working toward deadlines during all the biggest moments in the annual hockey calendar, from the NHL Trade Deadline to the Stanley Cup playoffs</li></ul>



Job requirements:



<ul><li>Must be based in Eastern time zone (our team of West Coast writers is already large and strong!)</li><li>Must have multiple years experience writing sports news stories in a deadline-driven environment</li><li>Must have strong professional hockey knowledge base, including players, teams, salary cap and contracts</li><li>Must be willing to work flexible, occasionally unpredictable hours during any day of the week</li></ul>
