Friday’s Results:
- ✅ Shot Prop: Macklin Celebrini Over 3.5 SOG (-120)
- ❌ Goal Prop: Brandon Hagel Over 0.5 Goals (+130)
- ✅ Point Prop: Darren Raddysh Over 0.5 Points (-143)
- ❌ Save Prop: John Gibson Over 22.5 Saves (-125)
Shot Prop: Charlie Coyle Over 1.5 SOG (-109)
Coyle has shown a clear shift in shot volume under new head coach Rick Bowness. In his first two games with Bowness behind the bench, he’s recorded 15 SOG and 19 shot attempts while averaging 18:11 TOI.
He’s hit this prop in four straight games and in seven of his last 10 outings (70.0% or -233). While Coyle hasn’t traditionally been a high-volume shooter, the increased willingness to put pucks on net has created value at this number, especially with sportsbooks still hanging an over 1.5 line at near-even money.
The matchup isn’t ideal, but Pittsburgh has allowed the 17th-most shot attempts over their last 10 games, which should be enough volume to keep Coyle in play again tonight.
Goal Prop: Zach Hyman Over 0.5 Goals (+137)
Hyman has been red-hot for over a month, scoring at least one goal in 11 of his last 18 games (61.1% or -157) while totaling 14 goals and seven assists (21 points) during that stretch. He plays on one of the NHL’s most dominant units at both five-on-five (4.5 xGF/60) and on the power play, giving him consistent high-end scoring opportunities.
The matchup only adds to the appeal. Vancouver enters Saturday on a nine-game losing streak and has allowed 4.4 goals per game during that span. With Hyman available at +137 in this spot, the number offers strong value relative to his recent production and role.
Point Prop: Viktor Arvidsson Over 0.5 Points (+108)
Arvidsson has quietly been one of the more productive forwards in the league this season, particularly over the past two months. He enters Saturday riding a six-game point streak (3G / 4A) and has been producing at a 29-goal, 39-assist (68-point) pace since the beginning of November.
During that span, Arvidsson has recorded at least one point in 16 of 23 games (69.6% or -228), yet the market is still offering plus money. He draws a favorable matchup against a Blackhawks team that has allowed 3.2 goals per game in 11 contests since the Christmas break, making this a strong value spot at +108.
Saves Prop: TBD
The save market was still closed at the time of writing this. Check back later in the day for a saves prop.
