After the New York Islanders added a player to COVID protocol this morning, with the potential for up to eight players unavailable to play due to COVID protocols, the NHL has announced that they are suspending all Islanders games through November 30th, at the earliest.

In a statement, the league said that they are in the process of reviewing and revising the Islanders’ regular season schedule.

“The Islanders organization has followed, and will continue to follow, all recommended guidelines aimed at protecting the health and safety of its Players, staff and community at large as set by the NHL, local, state and national agencies,” the league added.

The Islanders were set to play the Rangers on Sunday evening and were scheduled to travel to Philadelphia for a game against the Flyers Tuesday night.

More to come.
