The best in women’s professional hockey are set to showoff their talents during the 2024 NHL All-Star Weekend.

On Monday, the National Hockey League and Professional Women’s Hockey League announced the 24 players competing in the PWHL 3-on-3 Showcase.

Players from all six teams will be represented in the 20-minute exhibition game to close out NHL All-Star Thursday on Feb. 1.

Many of the players in the game are former Olympians, with a combined 146 Olympic medals scattered throughout the rosters. The players will be split up into two teams named after PWHL advisory board members Billie Jean King and Ilana Kloss. Former Olympians Cassie Campbell-Pascall (Team King) and Meghan Duggan (Team Kloss) will serve as coaches.

Team King have three of the best players from this generation. Team USA stars Kendall Coyne Schofield and Hilary Knight will be joined by Captain Clutch, Marie-Philip Poulin.

They will also have the league’s leading scorer, New York defender Ella Shelton. Through four games, the Team Canada star has six points.

Team King will also have rivals between the pipes, as Ann-Renée Desbiens and Aerin Frankel have been mainstays in the Canadian and American nets over the last few years.

Team Kloss also has a couple of big-time stars. Fans will get to see Abby Roque and Sarah Nurse on the same team, with the electrifying rookie Taylor Heise also looking to wow the All-Star crowd.

They also have arguably two of the other top netminders in the PWHL. Minnesota’s Nicole Hensley and Emerance Maschmeyer from Ottawa have both stood out early on, and will look to show up their national team tendermates.
