Each NHL team’s nominee for the 2026 King Clancy Memorial Trophy has been announced.

The honor is given “to the player who best exemplifies leadership qualities on and off the ice and has made a noteworthy humanitarian contribution in his community.”

The winner will be chosen by a committee consisting of former winners of this award and the NHL Foundation Player Award as well as NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman, and the winner will be granted a $25,000 donation to the charity or charities of his choosing.

Florida’s Aleksander Barkov took home the award last season, while Henrik Sedin is the only player in league history to win the award on multiple occasions, including a shared win with his twin brother Daniel in 2018.
