OHL’s Sudbury Wolves to wear Shoresy-inspired jersey

The Sudbury Wolves are going to don different jerseys once again this week.
On Friday night, as the Wolves host the Barrie Colts in Ontario Hockey League action, the home squad will be hosting “Shoresy Night,” a tribute to the popular Letterkenny spin-off that has captured the attention of hockey players and fans alike. With that, Sudbury will be wearing Shoresy-themed jerseys to commemorate the occasion.

— Sudbury Wolves (@Sudbury_Wolves) November 4, 2025The jersey replicates the show’s fictional team, the Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs, captained by the show’s main protagonist, Shoresy, played by actor and former junior hockey player Jared Keeso. The show is filmed in Sudbury, with the team using the Sudbury Community Arena for most of its hockey scenes, along with other locations around town.
This isn’t the first time the Wolves have held a Shoresy Night. The growing tradition dates back a few seasons, garnering support and attention both from the diehard fans and those who simply love the show. Last season, the Wolves beat the Erie Otters on the theme night, 5-2. In November 2023, Sudbury ran it up, and filled in the London Knights in a 9-2 victory. The first Shoresy-themed game took place on Dec. 9, 2022, when the Wolves lost to the Saginaw Spirit.
The Wolves (4-11-1-0) are hoping they can continue the good luck on the themed night, as the team has lost three straight games and four of its past six contests. Sudbury currently sits at the bottom of the Central Division with the worst record in the OHL.
Like past years, it’s expected that the jerseys will be auctioned off for a charitable cause. The main “sponsor” on this year’s sweaters is Play it Forward, a nonprofit organization that takes proceeds and donates them to local charities, “that promote health, fitness, and mental wellness in Sudbury.”
