Oilers’ Warren Foegele ejected for kneeing vs. Panthers

Edmonton Oilers forward Warren Foegele was assessed a five-minute major and a game misconduct for kneeing Florida Panthers forward Eetu Luostarainen halfway through the first period of Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Final.
The Panthers were awarded a five-minute powerplay, but just over a minute into it, Oliver Ekman-Larsson took a double minor for tripping, resulting in four-on-four action. Oilers’ defenseman Mattias Ekholm was able to capitalize and open the scoring.
Luostarainen would return to the game for Florida.
