A little bit of business on the waiver wire on Tuesday.

The Ottawa Senators placed forward Cole Reinhardt on waivers. The St. Louis Blues and Utah Hockey Club put Marcus Sylvegard and Milos Kelemen, respectively, on unconditional waivers for the purposes of contract termination.

Reinhardt joins Blues forward Brandon Saad on the wire. If Reinhardt were to clear on Wednesday, he would be eligible to be assigned to the Senators’ American Hockey League affiliate, the Belleville Senators.

Reinhardt has played a good chunk of the season with Ottawa. After not appearing in a game since making his NHL debut during the 2021-22 season, the 24-year-old has played in 12 games with the Sens thus far, last seeing game action on Jan. 11 against the Pittsburgh Penguins. He scored his first NHL goal on Nov. 25 against the Calgary Flames. Reinhardt also registered a point in his season debut on Oct. 25 against the Vegas Golden Knights.

The Calgary native has played in 13 games with Belleville this season, scoring six goals and 10 assists for 16 points. In 238 career AHL appearances, Reinhardt has scored 46 goals and 69 assists for 115 points, including two goals in nine Calder Cup Playoff games.

Reinhardt was drafted by the Sens in the sixth round, 181st overall, in the 2020 NHL Draft.

Kelemen has been on loan from Utah to HC Dynamo Pardubice in the Czech Extraliga since late November. The 25-year-old has been with the organization for the past three years, playing a total of 25 games when the team was known as the Arizona Coyotes. The Slovakian forward totaled a goal and an assist in his brief time in the NHL.

Most of Kelemen’s career in North America has been with Utah’s primary affiliate, the Tucson Roadrunners. In 11 games with Tucson this year, he scored a goal and six points. In 124 AHL games, the winger notched 31 goals and 68 points.

Sylvegard signed a one-year, entry-level contract with the Blues back in late April. The undrafted Swede has spent the 2024-25 season with St. Louis’ top farm team, the Springfield Thunderbirds. In 35 games, the 25-year-old has posted 10 goals and 11 assists for 21 points.

Prior to coming to North America, Sylvegard played for both the Malmö Redhawks and Växjö Lakers HC of the Swedish Hockey League.
