The Ottawa Senators have placed defenceman Victor Mete in COVID-19 protocols, the club announced Tuesday.
Mete, 23, wasn’t seen at practice Tuesday morning.
He’s appeared in nine games for the Senators this season scoring four points.
The club also announced goaltender Anton Forsberg would miss Tuesday’s game against the Boston Bruins. They subsequently recalled goaltender Filip Gustavsson from the AHL’s Belleville Senators.
