Maple Leafs goalie Petr Mrazek out six weeks with groin injury

Toronto Maple Leafs goaltender Petr Mrazek will be out for the next six weeks with a groin injury, as per The Leaf Nation’s David Alter.
Sheldon Keefe says Ilya Lyubushkin is doing well, but had symptoms from the other night so they are being cautious.
Petr Mrazek is expected to be out 6 weeks pending another medical evaluation.#Leafs
Mrazek suffered the injury in Tuesday’s game against the Boston Bruins, where he likely tweaked it while trying to make a save. He left the game in the first period and did not return for the rest of the game.
The injury is another misfortune to add to the list on Mrazek’s nightmare season with the Leafs, as things just have not gone right for the goalie. This is his third injury on the season, and when he’s finally gotten into games, it hasn’t gone well. In 20 games, Mrazek has a 12-6-0 record and an .888 save percentage, although the record is more because of the goal support he gets from the Leafs in front of him.
With Jack Campbell (ribs) close but not quite ready for a return, the Leafs will have to look to Erik Kallgren and Michael Hutchinson to handle goaltending duties at this moment. Kallgren has been a solid surprise for the Leafs this season with a 3-2-0 record and .911 save percentage, while Hutchinson has only gotten two games with the Leafs this season back in October, with an .857 save percentage in those games.
The Leafs made a couple other call-ups due to all the injuries that occurred in the game against Boston, announcing they’d called up D-men Mac Hollowell and Filip Kral from the Toronto Marlies. While Justin Holl will be fine to play, Ilya Lyubushkin suffered a head injury and will likely need more recovery time before he returns. In addition to those updates, Jake Muzzin is getting closer to returning to the lineup.
