Vladař is in his first season with the Flyers, where he has posted an impressive 12-5-3 record with a .910 save percentage. He has primarily served as Philadelphia’s No. 1 goaltender, outplaying a struggling Samuel Ersson (who will get the start on Saturday).

Drafted 75th overall by Boston in 2015, Vladař has never been a starter in his career, but has proven to be a solid backup. He was a top trade candidate throughout much of his time with the Calgary Flames, but ultimately signed with Philadelphia as a free agent.

Dvorak is also in his first season with Philly, which has been his best season to date. He had 33 points in 82 games a year ago with Montreal, but already has 23 points in 33 outings with the Flyers. The 29-year-old is a strong two-way forward who can be a bit inconsistent at times, but can also prove to be lethal around the crease.

Barkey, 20, is coming off two OHL championships with the London Knights. He also took home the Memorial Cup to close out his junior career last season. Barkey has seven goals and 16 points in 26 games with the AHL’s Lehigh Valley Phantoms.

Drafted 95th overall by Philadelphia in 2023, the 20-year-old is a versatile forward who loves creating damage around the net. He might be on the smaller side, but he makes up for it with his intensity and hockey sense.

The Flyers enter the weekend sitting second in the Eastern Conference wild-card race with 40 points. They’re just one point behind New Jersey for the third spot in the Metropolitan Division.
