Tyler Yaremchuk joined Frank Seravalli and Colby Cohen on Tuesday’s edition of Daily Faceoff Live for another PointsBet Daily Bets segment.
Nine games on the slate tonight. Yaremchuk provides you with all your betting and odds needs for tonight’s matchups between: the Columbus Blue Jackets vs. Pittsburgh Penguins, and Shane Wright’s Seattle Kraken at home to take on Juraj Slafkovsky and the Montreal Canadiens.
Tyler Yaremchuk: Let’s dig into the bets courtesy of our friends at PointsBet Canada. I have four plays spread out between just two games. Starting at the top with the Pittsburgh Penguins, I like them on the Puckline tonight at -110. This is a Columbus team that is sputtering along right now, Elvis Merzlikins is getting the start and he’s got a goals-against average of 4.00 on the season. Pittsburgh has seven wins in their last 10. They’re moving along well, I’m taking them on the puckline. I’m also taking the Sidney Crosby shot prop, not paying out great at -180 but he’s been crushing it as of late and hit it in four of his last five.
For the final matchup, and that game between Montreal and Vancouver was wild, the over hit as I picked yesterday in my daily bets. But, I like Seattle to win tonight, Montreal on the second of back-to-backs and Seattle as we know is one of the hottest teams in the league over the last month and a half here. I love Seattle, they’ve won six of their last seven and I’m going to take them at -1.5 goals tonight. I’m also taking Matty Beniers to pick up an assist. I missed this last week, but I’m going right back to it. He is a top-line centre and you’re getting +150 on the payout so a Matty Beniers apple is my fourth play of the day.
