PointsBet Daily Bets: Blues/Sabres & Ekblad/Keller shot props

Tyler Yaremchuk joined Frank Seravalli and Colby Cohen on Tuesday’s edition of Daily Faceoff Live for another PointsBet Daily Picks segment.
A busy night in the NHL tonight with 15 games on deck. Yaremchuk provides you with all your betting needs for select games tonight between the St. Louis Blues and Buffalo Sabres, Florida Panthers vs. Boston Bruins and Arizona Coyotes vs. Carolina Hurricanes.
Frank Seravalli: Let’s get to our Daily Faceoff PointsBet Daily Bets segment. Tyler Yaremchuk, how are you doing?
Tyler Yaremchuk: Good, 2 for 2 last night, 3-2 on the week. Can I suggest as someone who bets on player props, shots that hit the post count as shots on goal, can I get away with that one? Anyways, I got three plays on a busy NHL slate so let’s jump into it. Starting with a matchup between the St. Louis Blues and the Buffalo Sabres. We nailed the over yesterday in the Sabres vs Habs game. Buffalo playing their second of back-to-backs and how about this, and this is the third time this month that they have had to play back-to-back games. The first two times they’ve not only lost the second half of the back-to-back, but the other team also covered the Puckline. So I like taking St. Louis on the Puckline and it’s a pretty juicy +165, and St. Louis is hot right now, as soon as I see Jordan Binnington as the confirmed starter for the Blues I’ll be all over St. Louis -1.5 at +165.
A couple of shot props tonight quickly, I love Clayton Keller because the line is set at 1.5, not 2.5. I’m taking him to go over 1.5 shots, it’s only paying out -170 but he’s crushed this in five straight games and seven of his last 10. I also like Aaron Ekblad at -150 to go over 2.5 shots on goal as well, he’s also hit this one in five straight and he’s hit this in six of eight games on this season. Those are my three plays tonight Frank, Keller and Ekblad shot props and St. Louis to cover the Puckline.
