PointsBet Daily Bets: Canadiens vs Blackhawks & shot prop parlay

Tyler Yaremchuk joined Mike McKenna on Tuesday’s edition of Daily Faceoff Live for another PointsBet Daily Bets segment.

Nine games on the Valentine’s Day NHL slate. Yaremchuk provides you with all your betting and odds needs for tonight’s matchups including the Montreal Canadiens vs. Chicago Blackhawks and the Carolina Hurricanes vs. Washington Capitals.

Tyler Yaremchuk: Let’s jump right into it courtesy of our friends at PointsBet Canada. Tonight I am targeting another over bet, we are looking at the Montreal Canadiens vs Chicago Blackhawks. For the Habs, they’ve had the over-hit in both of their games since returning from the by-week and four of their last five games overall. I love the fact that the number is six and not six and a half. For the Blackhawks, they’ve only hit the over in two of their last five games but in all three of those misses the total has been exactly five. They’re starting a rookie in Jaxson Stauber tonight between the pipes so I think this game is going over and I like that -121 price tag.

I also have a shot prop parlay tonight. Coming in at a very juicy +143, we’re eyeing up Blackhawks Taylor Raddysh and Nicklas Backstrom of the Washington Capitals. Raddysh taking on a Habs team that tends to give up a lot of shots and he’s hit this in four of his last five and is coming off a miss, I love this spot. For Backstrom, since he’s made his return to the lineup he’s hit his shot prop in nine of the last 13 games. It’s set at 1.5 and if you play these two together you can enjoy that +143 payout.
