PointsBet Daily Bets: Jets/Canadiens Puckline & Wild/Capitals Moneyline

Tyler Yaremchuk joined Frank Seravalli and Mike McKenna on Tuesday’s edition of Daily Faceoff Live for another PointsBet Daily Bets segment.
Eight games on the slate tonight. Yaremchuk provides you with all your betting and odds needs for tonight’s matchups including the Winnipeg Jets vs. Montreal Canadiens and the Minnesota Wild vs. Washington Capitals.
Tyler Yaremchuk: Let’s jump right into it courtesy of our friends at PointsBet Canada. Starting with the matchup between the Winnipeg Jets and Montreal Canadiens. The Puckline is paying even money and I love this one; the Canadiens just placed a bunch of players on the injured reserve today. The Jets are the best team in the Western Conference and have eight wins in their last ten games. They’ve won three in a row and they’re rested up, I’m banking on a Connor Hellebuyck start between the pipes, so that’s my first spot tonight.
My second play is the Minnesota Wild vs Washington Capitals matchup. Washington is on the second of back-to-backs heading into this game and is 1-3-1 heading into the second of back-to-backs this season. I don’t think this line is set right, yeah the Wild only have five wins in their last ten games and are above .500 as a road team this year so I love taking them at -125 on the Moneyline.
Finally my shot prop parlay today, find two players with the line set at 1.5 and parlay them together to get a plus-money payout. Today, I am eyeing up Blake Wheeler and Lawson Crouse. Crouse has hit this mark in his last five games and 10 of his last 15 games. They’re going up against a Red Wings team that lets up a decent amount of shots. Blake Wheeler is sitting at over 1.5 at -180 and he’s hit that in 12 of his last 15 games. Again, the Canadiens also give up a lot of rubber. I like both of these guys to hit their marks, they each play in the top six and get powerplay minutes as well. So I like them to both go over 1.5 and parlay it at +141.
