PointsBet Daily Bets: Kings/Islanders Moneyline & William Nylander shot prop

Tyler Yaremchuk joined Frank Seravalli on Daily Faceoff Live for another PointsBet Daily Bets segment.

Six games on the slate tonight. Yaremchuk provides you with all your betting and odds needs for tonight’s matchup including the New York Islanders vs. Los Angeles Kings and Toronto Maple Leafs vs. Minnesota Wild.

Tyler Yaremchuk: Let’s jump right into it courtesy of our friends at PointsBet Canada. I’ve got two plays tonight so let’s dig into it. We’ve got the L.A. Kings taking on the New York Islanders. The islanders coming off a couple of games where they’ve beaten the Winnipeg Jets and the Pittsburgh Penguins so maybe they’re starting to round out in form and they’re expected to start Ilya Sorokin tonight. They are taking on a Kings team that played yesterday and is three and five in the second half of back-to-back games. The Islanders are on home ice and are -136 on the Moneyline so I am hammering Bo Horvat and the Islanders tonight.

The shots prop tonight is a Toronto Maple Leafs player and that is Auston Matthews. It’s set at 3.5 and paying out -165 and he’s been hitting this pretty consistently. However, I don’t like the payout so I am checking down one and going with William Nylander at 3.5 shots for a -115 payout. He’s hit this in five of his last six games, he’s been averaging five shots per game and we only need four tonight for a -115 payout. The Islanders on the Moneyline and Nylander over 3.5 are my plays tonight.
