PointsBet Daily Bets: Kraken/Devils & Panthers/Sharks

Tyler Yaremchuk joined Frank Seravalli on Thursday’s edition of Daily Faceoff Live for another PointsBet Daily Bets segment.
Seven on the NHL slate tonight. Yaremchuk provides you with all your betting and odds needs for tonight’s matchups including the New Jersey Devils vs. Seattle Kraken and Florida Panthers vs. San Jose Sharks.
Tyler Yaremchuk: Let’s jump right into it courtesy of our friends at PointsBet Canada. I’ve got three plays on a bigger slate tonight. At the top, we got the Seattle Kraken as road dogs and they’ve been great on the road so far this season. They are dead on .500 as underdogs but of course, when you’re a dog the payout is better than even money. They’ve been very profitable this year when they’re priced as underdogs. The Devils won’t have Jack Hughes, won’t have Vitek Vanecek between the pipes tonight so I think this is a great spot to take one of the best road teams in the NHL at plus money.
Also, I like the Florida Panthers even though they won’t have Aleksander Barkov because they’re taking on a San Jose Sharks team that has won two in a row but only have three wins in their last 10 games. I really don’t think this Sharks team is built to go on a three-game heater, never mind on the road against a Florida team that beat up the Tampa Bay Lightning earlier this week. So I’ll take the Panthers on the Puckline at +105 and the Kraken at +115.
We also got a shot prop parlay! Two players whose lines are set at 1.5 so we are targeting Tyler Bertuzzi of the Detroit Red Wings as he’s got 13 shots on goal in his last five games, he’s hit this mark in four of five games. We will be playing this with Colorado Avalanche defenseman Devon Toews, who has hit this in seven of his last 10 games so If you play those two together that’s +151. Those are my three-plus money bets tonight.
