PointsBet Daily Bets: Lightning/Flyers Puckline & Nikita Kucherov shot prop

Tyler Yaremchuk joined Frank Seravalli on Daily Faceoff Live for another PointsBet Daily Bets segment.

10 games on the slate tonight. Yaremchuk provides you with all your betting and odds needs for tonight’s matchup including the Tampa Bay Lightning vs. Philadelphia Flyers and Vegas Golden Knights vs. Florida Panthers.

Tyler Yaremchuk: Let’s jump right into it courtesy of our friends at PointsBet Canada. I got three plays tonight. I like the Tampa Bay Lightning beating the Philadelphia Flyers and I like the Lightning to beat them on the Puckline. They have been struggling as of late, that is no secret and yes they’ll be without Victor Hedman but they’ll likely be starting Andrei Vasilevskiy according to DailyFaceoff.com. They are at home tonight and taking on a Flyers team that has just two wins in their last ten games, it’s a bounce-back spot for the Bolts. Even though -121 isn’t a great Puckline price, I still think it’s a decent spot.

The other matchup I am eyeing is the Vegas Golden Knights and Florida Panthers game. Vegas are road dogs, they are +130 in Florida tonight and I just don’t think this is set right. I think it should be way closer to a pick ‘em or the Golden Knights  — who have won seven of their last ten games and are currently on a three-game heater — should probably be favourites. So I’m all over the Golden Knights at +130. Florida is 17-13 at home this year and that’s solid, but the Golden Knights are 17-11 on the road this year so those cancel each other out. Florida is five and five in their last ten games so I like Vegas at a very good +130 price tag.

For my player prop tonight we are going back to the Lightning and Flyers matchup. I am taking the Nikita Kucherov shot prop, it’s set at -105 on the Over but this has hit in four of his last five games, and he had four shots on goal last game. Even though the Bolts only had 14 all game, Kucherov had almost 33% of the Lightning’s entire shots on goal. I like him to hit the 3.5 mark tonight against the Flyers.
