PointsBet Daily Bets: Montreal/Chicago over 6.5 & John Carlson/ Rasmus Andersson shot props

Tyler Yaremchuk joined Matt Larkin on Friday’s edition of Daily Faceoff Live for another PointsBet Daily Picks segment.

Tyler Yaremchuk: We finally have hockey back on the schedule today after it went dark for American Thanksgiving. A lot of the games that get going right away here, like within the half hour. We got Carolina facing off against the Bruins and four other afternoon games as well. So let’s jump into it courtesy of our friends at PointsBet Canada. I got picks for these afternoon games starting with Calgary and Washington where I got two shot props I’m keeping an eye on, John Carlson set at 2.5 paying out -110 which is an unreal price and unreal payout. This has paid out six straight and 9 of his last 10. They should probably move the line up to 3.5 but they’re not, so I’m hammering John Carlson shot prop. Also, Rasmus Andersson, it’s only set at 1.5 and granted it’s paying -160 but I love getting players when they are at 1.5 and the payout is anywhere around -150 or -160. He’s hit this thing in four of his last five as well. So, Rasmus Andersson and John Carlson are my shot props for Calgary and Washington game.

I also love the over in the Montreal and Chicago. Betting the over in Habs games has actually treated me very well as of late. It’s hit in three of their last four, and for the Blackhawks while they’ve only hit the over in four of their last 10, it’s actually been their four last games that have hit for them. Soderblom will get the start between the pipes for the Blackhawks and he’s allowed nine goals against in his last two games. The Habs are averaging three goals for over their last five and I think these are two teams who will combine for a lot of goals on a Black Friday as they face off at 2:00 p.m. eastern. Three plays tonight, the over in Montreal vs Chicago and two shot props.
