PointsBet Daily Bets: Nino Niederreiter & Erik Gustafsson shot props

Tyler Yaremchuk joined Steven Ellis on Wednesday’s edition of Daily Faceoff Live for another PointsBet Daily Bets segment.

Just four games on the slate tonight. Yaremchuk provides you with all your betting and odds needs for tonight’s matchups including the Toronto Maple Leafs vs. Nashville Predators and Alex Ovechkin’s Washington Capitals vs. Philadelphia Flyers. With Auston Matthews held out of the lineup tonight against the Predators, Yaremchuk provides you with insight on who you should place your bets on.

Tyler Yaremchuk: Let’s jump right into it courtesy of our friends at PointsBet Canada. Not a lot on the slate, and I don’t really want to touch the Toronto Maple Leafs since Auston Matthews is not in the lineup and they’re playing a red-hot Nashville Predators team. However, I do have a prop for this game. It’s for Nino Niederreiter to go over 1.5 shots. He’s hit this in four of his last five games and he’s got three shots on goal in three of those five. He’s crushing it, this line shouldn’t be set at 1.5. But the payout is not great at -180 so, what I’m doing here is I’m going to parlay the bet.

I’m throwing it in with Washington Capitals’ Erik Gustafsson to go over 1.5 shots as well. With John Carlson out, Gustafsson has picked up a lot of the offensive slack on this blue line. He’s gone over this mark in four of his last five games as well. I like them both to hit, and when you play it together it’s -140 and I love it so Lucy that I’m throwing two units on it. I am very confident in these two guys, I love it when shot props get to this level and these two have been crushing it.
