PointsBet Daily Bets: Oilers/Sharks Puckline & Panthers vs Red Wings Puckline

Tyler Yaremchuk joined Daily Faceoff Live for another PointsBet Daily Bets segment.

Just five games on the slate tonight. Yaremchuk provides you with all your betting and odds needs for tonight’s matchups including the Edmonton Oilers vs. San Jose Sharks and Florida Panthers vs. Detroit Red Wings

Tyler Yaremchuk: Let’s dig into it courtesy of our friends at PointsBet Canada. Starting with that matchup between the Edmonton Oilers and San Jose Sharks. The Oilers are absolutely rolling, with three wins in a row and they’ve been covering the Puckline in a handful of them as well so why not take them on the Puckline tonight against a Sharks team that has not even been very good this season. I think goaltending has been an issue for them and keeping pucks out of the net in general has been an issue. Edmonton on the Puckline at -145.

I also love taking the Florida Panthers on the Puckline as well tonight. They’ve won back-to-back games and covered the Puckline in each of them, with seven wins in their last ten games. The Detroit Red Wings have really been sputtering as of late, with just two wins in their last ten games. You can get it at +135 and that’s a good price tag for a team that’s kind of down in the dumps going up against a team like Florida who is right there in the playoff picture. I like taking both Pucklines, but I am also going to hedge them and play both of them on the Moneyline in a parlay because it comes out to even money. Another crazy thing is Connor McDavid’s point line is set at 2.5, you can’t even bet on 1.5 on PointsBet. It’s insane the run he’s been having.
