PointsBet Daily Bets: Rangers/Islanders Moneyline & Canucks/Kraken

Tyler Yaremchuk joined Frank Seravalli and Steven Ellis on Thursday’s edition of Daily Faceoff Live for another PointsBet Daily Bets segment.

8 games on the slate tonight. Yaremchuk provides you with all your betting and odds needs for today’s matchups between the New York Rangers vs New York Islanders, Vancouver Canucks vs Seattle Kraken and the Toronto Maple Leafs hosting the Philadelphia Flyers.

Tyler Yaremchuk: Let’s jump right into it courtesy of our friends at PointsBet Canada.  Starting with the matchup between the New York Islanders and New York Rangers. I like the Rangers in this one, not getting greedy but I’ll take them on the Moneyline. The payout is not great, just -165 but the rangers are starting to hear things up despite losing the last game, they were on a nice winning streak. The islanders kind of cooled it off a bit, they’ve won the two meetings between these two already but I think the Rangers are due for a victory in tonight’s rivalry matchup. I am also going to hit the Artemi Panarin shot prop. He’s hit this in four of his last five games.

We also got the Seattle Kraken taking on the Vancouver Canucks. I’m going with over 6.5 goals and the payout is -105 I think this is a really nice spot for the Canucks. You look at it and go “well they’ve only hit this in four of their last ten” but in another four of those games the total has sat at exactly 6 goals, it’s a pretty similar story for the Kraken as well. A lot of their games also seem to end right at six, I think taking these two teams is good, we will get at least 7 tonight. Their goaltending hasn’t been great as of late, so I’m going with the over in this matchup. There’s also an afternoon hockey game on Thursday, so I’ll get a bit of action in on that one, Frank. Give me Auston Matthews to hit his 4.5-shot prop.
