PointsBet Daily Bets: Sabres/Canadiens & Trevor Moore shot prop

Tyler Yaremchuk joined Frank Seravalli and Mike McKenna on Tuesday’s edition of Daily Faceoff Live for another PointsBet Daily Picks segment. With just two games on the slate tonight, Yaremchuk provides you with all your betting needs.

Frank Seravalli: Let’s get to Tyler Yaremchuk for our Daily Faceoff PointsBet Daily Bets segement.

Tyler Yaremchuk: Tonight there are only two games in the NHL, so let’s jump into it courtesy of our friends at PointsBet Canada. Starting with that matchup at the bottom actually, between the Buffalo Sabres and Montreal Canadiens. I love going with the over here and there are a bunch of numbers that support this. Jake Allen has allowed four goals against in three straight games, 20 goals against in his last five starts. Craig Anderson has 12 goals against in his last three starts, his only three starts for the month of November. The Sabres have hit the over in 3 of 5, and 7 of 10. The Habs have seen the over hit in 4 of their last five, and 6 in the last 10. Each of these two teams averaging over 6.5 goals on the year, I love the over I think it’s a great spot at -115 at over 6.5

For my second play, I’m going with a player-shot prop. Trevor Moore has been firing the puck at an amazing clip so far this season. He’s hit this over 2.5 in three straight games and he’s actually had four shots in each of those games. He’s hit this mark in 14 of his 20 games so far this season and he’s actually never been held to lower than 2 shots in any game. So with all that to say, I think over 2.5 at -130 is a great price as well. So I’m taking the Moore shot prop and the over in Buffalo vs Montreal.
