PointsBet Daily Bets: Sabres/Hurricanes & Maple Leafs/Bruins

Tyler Yaremchuk joined Matt Larkin and Steven Ellis on Wednesday’s edition of Daily Faceoff Live for another PointsBet Daily Bets segment.

Just two games on the slate tonight as we head into a by-week and the NHL All-Star break. Yaremchuk provides you with all your betting and odds needs for tonight’s matchups including the Boston Bruins vs. Toronto Maple Leafs and Carolina Hurricanes vs. Buffalo sabres.

Tyler Yaremchuk: Let’s jump right into it courtesy of our friends at PointsBet Canada. Another two games tonight and I have a couple of plays for them. Yesterday, there were a lot of overs and Nick Alberga of Leafs Nation even sent out a tweet saying how he loved the pre-by-week overs. These guys are focused on the beach, they aren’t focused on hockey so tonight you know what we’re going to do? We will take both overs. We got the Boston Bruins versus Toronto Maple Leafs it’s two top-10 offences going at it and I know Auston Matthews isn’t playing but with this number being down at 5.5 this could very well be a 4-2 game on either side so I like taking the over there.

Carolina hasn’t scored a ton recently and I don’t trust their goaltending, Carolina is also in the second of a back-to-back so I think there could be potential for a lot of goals here tonight with Raanta going in for the canes. As for shot props, I like Alex Tuch of the Buffalo Sabres which is paying plus money and he’s got this in four of his last five games. I also like taking Bruins’ Taylor Hall, he’s crushed his shot prop in four of his last five games and it is set at 2.5 and the payout is +115. These are two easy shot props and plays for me there to go along with a couple of overs.
