PointsBet Daily Bets: Senators/Canadiens & Brent Burns shot prop

Tyler Yaremchuk joined Frank Seravalli and Mike McKenna on Tuesday’s edition of Daily Faceoff Live for another PointsBet Daily Bets segment.

Just three games on the slate tonight as we head into a by-week and the NHL All-Star break. Yaremchuk provides you with all your betting and odds needs for tonight’s matchup between the St. Louis Blues and Winnipeg Jets

Tyler Yaremchuk: Let’s jump right into it courtesy of our friends at PointsBet Canada. Yesterday we were profitable in the Jets game thanks to Blake Wheeler picking up a last-second assist. So we will look for back-to-back profitable days. Two games I have plays for tonight. We got the Montreal Canadiens versus Ottawa Senators and I thought about the over 6.5 here but Anton Forsberg could be the guy between the pipes for the Sens’ and he has started to play a little bit better so with that said I am targeting the Senators offense. It is worth noting that Jake Allen is starting for the Canadiens and he’s allowed 11 goals in his last three appearances and 24 goals in his last five appearances. I like taking the Senators to go over their team total of 3.5 and it’s paying -120. This club scored 13 goals in their last three games so they are hitting this pretty consistently. I like taking them at over 3.5. I am also taking Claude Giroux of the Senators to pick up an assist as well. Four straight games with an apple for Giroux and this is paying almost plus money over on PointsBet so I love hammering that.

For a shot prop, I am taking Brent Burns of the Carolina Hurricanes. Earlier in the year he was a lock, his line was going up to 3.5 and he was still hitting the prop a ton. He’s cooled off and now starting to get going again. He’s hit this in four of his last five games and I love it at a -120 payout. So, we got a Burns shot prop, the Senators team payout and Claude Giroux to pick up an apple.
