PointsBet Daily Bets: Senators/Penguins & Avalanche/Canucks Puckline

Tyler Yaremchuk joined Matt Larkin and Steven Ellis on Friday’s edition of Daily Faceoff Live for another PointsBet Daily Bets segment.

Just a short slate and only two games on the tab tonight. Yaremchuk provides you with all your betting and odds needs for tonight’s games including the Ottawa Senators vs Pittsburgh Penguins and Nathan MacKinnon and the Colorado Avalanche roll into Vancouver to take on Bo Horvat and the Canucks.

Tyler Yaremchuk: Let’s jump right into it courtesy of our friends at PointsBet Canada. Quiet night tonight in the NHL, just two games tonight, but I got a play for you on both of them so let’s jump into it. Let’s start with the Ottawa Senators taking on the Pittsburgh Penguins for the second time in a week. The last time these two teams met it was nine total goals and the over-under is set at +6.5 like it usually is.  Neither of these teams has been great at hitting the over as of late, they both have done it in five of their last ten. I like the fact they both met earlier in the week and there’s a lot of offence. Could be a potential backup plan tonight as well potentially Anton Forsberg against Casey DeSmith and if that’s the matchup I am hammering the over in this one.

Next, the Colorado Avalanche and Vancouver Canucks. Bruce Boudreau is still behind the bench in Vancouver and while he is I’m going to keep betting against them because I don’t think they will play very motivated hockey for a guy whose days are numbered. So take that Puckline, the Avs have won three in a row and covered the Puckline in each of them. It’s +150 for a team that is as good as the Avs and starting to heat up after an early season rough patch, I love it. I’m chasing the juice this Friday.
