PointsBet Daily Bets: Stars/Sharks Puckline & Mikael Backlund shot prop

Tyler Yaremchuk: Let’s jump right into it courtesy of our friends at PointsBet Canada. Interesting slate tonight, I’ve got a couple of plays lined up. We got the Dallas Stars taking on the San Jose Sharks. I can’t believe where this line is set, once again maybe it’s a trap but the Stars are one of the top teams in the conference and one of the best in the league. The Sharks have only won two of their last ten games, I should not be getting +165 on the Puckline but I love this spot and I am hammering the Dallas -1.5 bet. 

For the shot prop parlay there just wasn’t enough on the slate tonight. The only shot prop I do like is the Mikael Backlund prop out in the Calgary Flames vs Colorado Avalanche game. He had nailed this for six in a row and then finally missed it last game so I like him to bounce back and -140 is a good spot. This guy has been remarkably consistent when it comes to hitting this bet throughout the course of the season. So, I like Backlund to go over 2.5 and Dallas to beat the San Jose Sharks.
