PointsBet Daily Picks: Avalanche Moneyline & Jack Hughes shot prop

Tyler Yaremchuk joined Mike McKenna on Friday’s edition of Daily Faceoff Live for another PointsBet Daily Picks segment.

With just six games on the slate for tonight, Yaremchuk provides you with all your betting needs for matchups between the Colorado Avalanche vs. New Jersey Devils, and Vegas Golden Knights vs. Anaheim Ducks.

Tyler Yaremchuk: Tonight there’s not a ton that I like but we can dig into it courtesy of our friends over at PointsBet Canada. I am starting with the Colorado Avalanche taking on the New Jersey Devils and the Devils have been a good story so far this year. They started off slow, they started to find their groove though. The Avalanche you could almost say the same thing, their last two wins have been impressive and come against really high-quality teams as well. So, the Avs are showing they can be quality teams while on the road and I think this price just is a little too juicy for me. It’s -136, I’m not used to seeing the Avs priced this way so I’m going to be all over it. They should be starting Alexander Georgiev as well, he was sensational in their win over the Rangers. Avs Moneyline -136 is my first play.

Also, I’m taking a player prop out in Vegas. It’s Jack Eichel to pick up an assist. He’s only got four in eight games so far, but you’re giving me a +120 payout and taking on a Ducks team that has been bleeding offense, and bleeding goals against as well. I like taking Eichel +120 to grab an assist. Just circling back to that New Jersey and Colorado game, even though I’m taking Colorado I do also like Jack Hughes to go over 3.5 shots. He had hit this in five in a row, that streak ended in their last game out. I like him to bounce back though at over 3.5 shots and a nice +100 even money, even price tag. Those are my three plays for Friday night in the NHL.
