PointsBet Daily Picks: Crosby/McDavid assist parlay & Jack Hughes shot prop

Tyler Yaremchuk: Let’s get into our NHL bets for tonight courtesy of our friends at PointsBet Canada. At first, there wasn’t a whole lot that I loved on this slate so I just ended up going with a couple of player props. Starting with the top, Washington vs. New Jersey. The Devils are at -136 favorites, I don’t love that price with them at home I think there’s just going to be a bunch of really tight games across the NHL board tonight. But, I do love Jack Hughes at over 3.5 shots on goal, he’s hit this thing four in a row and I think he’s going to hit it again with the Devils on home ice. So that’s a good spot at -105.

Also, Crosby vs McDavid tonight in Edmonton, it’s going to be an awesome game between the two. I don’t like either side of this, I don’t even love the over, even though I thought about it, but Crosby to get an assist parlayed with McDavid to get an assist, why not? It’s paying out +105 when you combine the two and I think both of them will get on the scoresheet, as they usually do when they go head to head. So, a Crosby/McDavid assist parlay, Jack Hughes over 3.5 shots. And I’m seeing on DailyFaceoff.com that it’s going to be Scott Wedgewood going tonight for the Dallas Stars against Ottawa and not Jake Oettinger. I’m actually going to take the over in that game. It’s hitting three in a row for the Senators and Wedgewood let in three goals his last time out. I think those two can hit the over 6 at -125. So, those are my three plays for tonight Frank. 

Frank Seravalli: I love that, I also love Connor McDavid three points or more in tonight’s game against the Pittsburgh Penguins. McDavid had four in each of his last two meetings against Crosby last year. Seems like he just gets geared up to play against the Pens and that comes in at a juicy +230.
