PointsBet Daily Bets – June 1st, 2022

Well, the first night of the Conference Finals was certainly electric. It was all offense and if you took over 13.5 goals, then I would imagine you’re feeling pretty good this morning.

In all honesty, I would love to know if any of you took any sort of adjusted over. If you did, send me your winning tickets on Twitter: @tyleryaremchuk

Tonight, I feel pretty confident in saying that we will not hit double-digits in total goals today and I think the books agree with me on that. Pointsbet Canada has the over/under set at 5.5 with the under paying -121.

The expectation is that Shesterkin and Vasilevskiy will stand on their heads and that we won’t see a lot of offense in this game. The under is probably a pretty smart play tonight but with the Rangers coming in off the high of winning a game seven and the Lightning having been sitting idle for over a week, I wouldn’t be surprised if we see a little bit of offence tonight. In short: I think I’m staying away from the total in this game.

One spot I do like is the Victor Hedman assist prop. Hedman logs heavy minutes for the Lightning at 5v5 and he quarterbacks Tampa Bay’s top powerplay unit. He’s picked up an assist in three of his last four games and the payout here is +105. I’ll take those odds.

One series bet I’m also jumping on is Nikita Kucherov over 2.5 goals at -118. He has four goals in eleven games so far in these playoffs but he’s shooting 6% lower than he was in the regular season. I think he’s due to start piling up the goals and this line feels low at 2.5. Offense will be hard to come by in this series, which does worry me, but I think Kucherov should be able to pot three in this series.
