PointsBet Daily Picks: Rangers/Flyers Puckline & Jack Eichel assist

Tyler Yaremchuk joined Frank Seravalli and Steven Ellis on Tuesday’s edition of Daily Faceoff Live for another PointsBet Daily Picks segment.
Tyler Yaremchuk: Let’s jump into it, I got three plays tonight courtesy of our friends at PointsBet Canada. Starting with that matchup at the top, I love the Rangers in this one and I think the public is agreeing with me as the line is shifting more and more toward New York all morning. I managed to get them this morning at +115, they’re now +105 on the Puckline. I think these are two teams trending in opposite directions, the Flyers have been outshot and outscored at 5-on-5 in two of their last three games. The Rangers are the exact reverse of that, so I love taking the Rangers with Igor Shesterkin who’s 5-0-2 on the season and is likely starting between the pipes. The Rangers on the Puckline is play No. 1.
You guys talked about the Capitals earlier and their injury problems. Well, I’m maybe not too confident to back Vegas on the road, I do feel like taking Jack Eichel to pick up an assist. He came through for me last week with an apple, it’s +140 which is a great payout, he’s got six assists in 10 games and hit this in three of his last five. Something to keep an eye on, Eichel has three of his six assists this year on the power play. The Washington Capitals tied for ninth in times shorthanded this season. So I like the Golden Knights to get some looks with the man advantage, and I like Eichel to pick up an apple.
I’ll wrap it up with a quick shot prop for you. Ryan Nugent-Hopkins over 2.5 shots is paying +125. He’s hit this in three in a row and he’s also hit this four of nine, but in four of those games, he’s missed it by one. He’s now a winger and not a center which has caused an uptick in his shots on the net. So I love taking Nuge over 2.5 shots on goal at +125 as my final play.
