PointsBet Daily Picks: Vegas Moneyline & Horvat/Kucherov/Caufield shot props

Tyler Yaremchuk joined Frank Seravalli and Mike McKenna on Tuesday’s edition of Daily Faceoff Live for another PointsBet Daily Picks segment.
Tyler Yaremchuk: There’s a lot on the slate tonight so let’s dig into it courtesy of our friends at PointsBet Canada. Starting with that matchup at the top, I am putting this one – like, considerate it the watchlist. Golden Knights vs Maple Leafs and I like the Golden Knights as road dogs at +100. Erik Kallgren is the confirmed starter for the Leafs but, I want to make sure Logan Thompson is the starter for Vegas and then I am taking them on the Moneyline at +100. I love them as road dogs, they’ve been fantastic on the road, and they’ve been fantastic in every game so far this season.
Digging into our shot props, let’s take a look at Bo Horvat, who, in his last four games has five shots, six, shots, five shots, six shots. The line is set up at 2.5 and it’s paying out at -150, not a great payout but I love this because the Senators are bottom 10 in the NHL for shots against per 60 at 5-on-5.
The second shot prop I like is Nikita Kucherov at over 3.5 and it’s paying out at +100 taking on the Oilers who are also bottom 10 in shots against per 60 at 5-on-5. Kucherov has six shots, four shots, four shots and four shots, he’s been crushing this as of late, so I like that trend to continue. Also, Cole Caufield to continue ripping the puck as well. So, similar thinking here, the Red Wings are also bottom in shots against per 60 at 5-on-five. Caufield has five shots, four shots, eight shots, and six shots – on four of his last five this number has hit. So, I like taking Caufield at over 3.5 at +100.
One final bet to make it an even five since I got a ton going on tonight, I like the Senators on the Moneyline at home at -120, and Spencer Martin is confirmed for Vancouver and he’s allowed four-plus goals in two of his last three starts. So, I like Ottawa to get the win over Vancouver, and that’s my busy night Frank.
