PointsBet Daily Picks: Vegas Puckline & Mika Zibanejad assist prop

In an action-packed night full of hockey, the Vegas Golden Knights’ Puckline looks like a safe bet as they take on the Winnipeg Jets. Meanwhile, Mika Zibanejad has been hot in the assist column. Yaremchuk explains why both of these are the best bets of the evening.
Tyler Yaremchuk: It’s a busy night tonight in the NHL, there are twelve games on tap and I have a lot of bets. I am calling redemption night. Let’s get into it courtesy of our friends at PointsBet Canada.
The Vegas Golden Knights let me down earlier in the season, I bet on them to cover the Puckline the last time they got home ice — they didn’t do it. But, I think they’re going to do it tonight, +120 on the Puckline and they’re taking on a Jets team that went to overtime last night against Colorado. David Rittich is expected to get the start, Vegas is a good team, a good team on home ice, I like them to cover tonight.
Mika Zibanejad to grab an assist. It’s +100, this guy has four assists in four games. He’s been hitting this pretty consistently and he does have a couple of multi-assist games in there as well. He’s taking on a team that’s given up the 10th most goals against per game, in the San Jose Sharks. So I think that the top line for New York keeps rolling, I’m taking Zibanejad at over 0.5 assist. Also taking Zibanejad’s shot prop, he’s averaging six shots a game, you can get him at over 3.5 shots paying out +120 and that is way too good to pass up.
Also, Sidney Crosby, he’s got an assist every game this year except for the one time I bet on him so I’m going back to that well tonight at -130 to get an assist. And, while we were doing the show I found a fifth bet that I really like as well. Brent Burns has hit his shot prop in every game except for the one time I bet on him, so I’m going back to that well as well tonight. His line is set at 2.5, it’s paying +100 and he’s crushed it in two of his three games. So I’m taking Burns over 2.5 shots, Zibanejad assist, Zibanejad over 3.5 shots, Crosby assist, and Vegas Golden Knights to cover the Puckline tonight Frank.
Plus, I’ll get this off my chest quickly in about 30 seconds. It’s the 27th time ever that all four major North American sports have a game on the same night. So this isn’t one of my recommended plays but the over in Yankees/Astros, the Arizona Cardinals to cover the spread and I’m going with the Milwaukee Bucks +4.5 — parlaying all those with the Puckline +1300, not a recommended bet but I’m getting wild as it’s the “sports equinox” as they call it.
