There will be another way for people to watch the hottest new league in sports.

On Wednesday, the Professional Women’s Hockey League announced a partnership with the Women’s Sports Network (WSN).

WSN, which was founded in 2021, becomes the league’s first national media partner in the United States.

The network is the first 24/7 streaming network dedicated to women’s sports. They are partnered with 17 leagues, including the LPGA, National Women’s Soccer League, USGA, Big East Conference and more.

Under the agreement, WSN will have extensive live game coverage of the PWHL throughout the rest of the regular season and playoffs.

“The PWHL is young and vibrant, and our games feature world-class athletes with compelling stories to share. We know WSN will tell those stories exceptionally well,” PWHL Senior VP of Business Operations, Amy Scheer said in a release. “This partnership will connect PWHL games and content with the ever-growing audience on WSN’s platforms, creating a true destination for outstanding coverage of our sport and our league.”

According to the release, the league and network was connected by PWHL Advisory Board members Billie Jean King and Ilana Kloss.

“The work that the PWHL has done to elevate professional women’s hockey is incredible,” WSN President Carol Stiff said. “We’re looking forward to showcasing the highest level of women’s hockey in America on WSN beginning Valentine’s Day.”

WSN can be streamed Roku, Tubi, Amazon Freevee, Sling, Vizio WatchFree+, FuboTV and more.

The PWHL also has television deals with TSN, CBC and Sportsnet in Canada. In the U.S., MSG Network, NESN and Bally Sports North have regional contracts with New York, Boston and Minnesota, respectively. Games have also been streamed on the league’s YouTube channel.

The first live game on WSN will be on Wednesday night, when Boston takes on Toronto at 7 p.m. ET.
