The 26-year-old Davis joins the team after spending the first half of the season as a member of PWHL Boston’s Reserve Player List.
The move comes after Ottawa placed Kristin Della Rovere on Long-Term Injured Reserve.
She was taken No. 1 overall by the Boston Pride in the 2020 NWHL/PHF Draft and spent three seasons with the club, scoring 15 goals and 16 assists for 31 points in 51 games. She finished as a finalist for Newcomer of the Year in 2020-21.
Before turning professional, Davis spent five seasons with Boston College between 2015-16 and 2019-20, captaining her last two seasons. She reached career highs in 2018-19, scoring 25 goals and 27 assists for 52 points in 37 games.
Ottawa’s next game is the first of a four-game road trip against Minnesota on Tuesday night. After that, they head to Montreal to face their Canadian rival on Sunday.
