The Edmonton Oilers are bringing Duncan Keith out west.
According to Daily Faceoff’s very own Frank Seravalli, Chicago and the Oilers have agreed on the pieces involved in the deal:
Shortly after reports surfaced that Keith wanted to be moved out west to be closer to his son, who lives in Penticton, the Oilers were identified as the favourites to land the 37-year-old rearguard.
According to Puck Pedia, Keith has two years left on his deal, which carries a cap hit of $5,583,462.
Jones, 24, was drafted in the fourth round back in 2015 by the Oilers and boasts solid underlying numbers, albeit in a rather limited third-pairing role.
More to come.
